In June, art students from the New Hanbury Project displayed and sold their work at an exhibition hosted by one of our partners, Shearman & Sterling.

Lasting two weeks, the exhibition was a great success and students sold 11 in total. This is even more exceptional given that for many of the students it was their first time of producing work for public display.

“At the beginning of the evening the SCT artists were very shy and quite overwhelmed by being in such corporate surroundings. But by the end of the evening they were happily discussing and describing their work to people they had never met before.” said Nina Garnham of Shearman & Sterling.

“The greatest pleasure was to see the pride each artist took when they found out that one of their pieces had been sold.”
