Art students from our New Hanbury Project have just finished designing Christmas cards for the independent hotel company, Grange Hotels.
”I did art at school but didn’t really get on with it.” said Ali R, whose design was one of two chosen by the hotel group for their festive e-cards this year. “I’d never done watercolours before. I first picked up a brush at the New Hanbury Project in Spring. I’m really pleased they chose my work!”

The brief was ‘London Christmas’ and over 10 designs were submitted.
“We were delighted to be introduced to SCT and the New Hanbury Project earlier this year” said Mary Doogan, the Group’s General Manager. “Keen to commission a special annual festive e-card, we wanted to showcase the homegrown talent of the New Hanbury Project. The artwork has been extremely well received and we are delighted with the process and outcome of our work with SCT.”

The cards will be distributed to all 17 hotels across London.
A big thank you to the Grange Hotels providing this kind of support to us. It helps boost the confidence of our students, particularly at this time of the year when recovery from addictions is fragile.
