SCT’s vintage furniture social enterprise, Restoration Station, has been chosen to take part in this year’s prestigious Shoreditch Design Triangle

The week long showcase of local design outlets is part of the London Design Festival and is described best by the lovely organisers at SCP:

“…the event revels in the true spirit of London, a place that bursts with new ideas, historical places and spaces, and the colourful characters who have strode the East End for many a year.”

Senior restorer Steve will be speaking in the Restoration Station shop on Tuesday 22nd at 7pm, sharing the benefits of creative craft and working with the public for his recovery from addiction.

Do join us to hear Steve speak and see the fantastic range of vintage and antique stock restored in the shop. Some items have just arrived back this week from the Southbank Centre’s Festival of Love, including a fantastic form group of modular sofas and coffee tables by Robin Day.

Restoration Station is at 118 Shoreditch High Street, E1 6JN – near the junction of Hackney Road and Shoreditch High Street.

““At the beginning, as an addict, I didn’t really trust myself. But it’s just unbelievable now… We know what’s going to work and we just go for it. The confidence is good for me, it’s unbelievable.””
