On Sunday 14 November, a yoga and rave will be held in aid of SCT.

The event is being organised by Sajni Lakhani, a yoga teacher and Hackney resident. “I walk past homeless people every day on my way home. I wanted to bring together my love of yoga and raves all whilst helping out a local charity that works with the homeless.

Everyone is welcome from beginners to yogis – this event will be a celebration of life!” Sajni Lakhani.

The event will consist of a 2-hour YogaBeats session with David Sye after which food will be served. Visuals, live music and DJ sets will then take dancers into a rave from 3pm – 9pm.

Holistic therapies will be available throughout the event.

Half of the proceeds from Yoga Rave will go to SCT, and the rest will go towards CAREducation, an Indian education charity.

“It’s fantastic that Sajni and Yogabeats came to us with this brilliant idea. As a small charity, we rely on this kind of generosity from the public to help raise invaluable funds for our work.” Mike Coffey, Events and Community Fundraising Officer, SCT.
