Please join us, the Baroness of Spitalfields, a Sheriff from the City of London, actor Timothy West, and some local Pearly Kings and Queens to launch the new Shakespeare themed garden that our fantastic New Hanbury Project students have been working on for almost a year.

The afternoon will be full of amusing acts, family fun and delectable delicacies.

2pm: Ribbon cutting ceremony with Timothy West followed by a Shakespeare reading or two by John McEnery.
2.30: Shoreditch cake competition.

3.30: The Bard’s Beard Contest for the hipsters and follicularly gifted.

Throughout the afternoon we will also be hosting:

. Pin the beard on the Bard
. Face painting
. Mingling minstrels and pop up choirs
. Lucky dip and tombola
. Kew Garden goodie bags and much, much more!

Fingers crossed the rain stays away!
