Spitalfields Crypt Trust

Relapse prevention is a big part of our work. For people in the later stages of recovery, our peer-led recovery community, Choices, helps prevent relapse by providing social, cultural and therapeutic events by people who are themselves in recovery.

Long-term recovery community

Choices is a diverse community of people in recovery from addiction. Members attend Choices to connect with others and build a support network, gain confidence, try new things and support their recovery. We run creative projects where the community work together over a number of workshops and wellbeing sessions to support positive mental health and wellbeing.

Choices groups meet twice a week, and we ask that our members participate in at least one activity per week.

Fridays, 4pm – 8pm, is for people in recovery that are looking for a safe and social environment to enjoy a Friday evening and connect with others. Every week, a member of the group cooks and they alternate between art workshops, film nights, board games and more. There’s lots of music, chatting and connecting – come along to find out more!
