We are delighted to welcome Tony Chasteauneuf, who will take over leadership of SCT in August.

Tony joins us after 14 years with The Salvation Army in Australia and the UK, and 12 years at Turning Tides (formerly Worthing Churches Homeless Projects).

“I’m very excited to be joining the SCT family. I’m so looking forward to getting to know everyone, seeing what we can achieve together and beginning to play my part in the togetherness, creativity and love that is Spitalfields Crypt Trust.” Tony Chasteauneuf.

With experience in charities across the world, Tony brings years of expertise in developing services for vulnerable people, community programmes, and leading not-for-profit enterprises.

“This is an exciting time to join the charity and with Tony’s help, SCT can keep going from strength to strength. We’re really looking forward to working together.” – Philip Young, SCT’s Chair of Trustees

SCT also bids a fond farewell to Steve Coles, who, after more than four years’ leadership, is stepping down from his role to take on family responsibilities, new opportunities in social action and social enterprise, and to have a rest after a very challenging year.

“I’m so pleased about Tony’s appointment as the new CEO of SCT. He brings a wealth of experience and an ethical and compassionate heart. SCT’s work in transforming the lives of people in recovery from addiction and experience of homelessness will be in very safe hands.” – Steve Coles
